Playing laggy is not really my strength, so i try to steer away from it. My strategy now is to either bluff willing to fold players or simply play the better hands aggressive. How frustrating is it when exactly then they have kk or aa or even qq. I posted in my first post. Still these players make me feel to lose oversight. I do fine before last 20 and then all of the sudden they start playing lag. I fn hate this. Just busted with my fn AKs and sure enough he fourbets allin with kk. The most frustrating is still the lose of control. The mofo started a little talk first before he shoved allin on top of it. FCK. Im just in hope mode around these players, yes thats right hope mode. Or cards face up mode. They know i dont want to be knocked out, and i feel they take advantage of it. They are willing to stack of with KJ. And then when i do finally get a hand they either fold or like above.

A few bits of advice:

– Read Jared Tendler’s ‘The Mental Game of Poker’. There’s some language in your post that’s indicative of several different kinds of mental game leaks.

– Eliminate the nondescript ‘they’ language. Other players aren’t some mysterious entity that’s out to get you, and they don’t all do the same thing. Instead of lumping your opponents together in a category, start picking them apart and analysing them instead.

– If they know you don’t want to be knocked out…stop caring so much about being knocked out, and start exploiting the other guys who still care! 🙂

– “They are willing to stack off with KJ” – obviously stack sizes are a factor, but if you’re never stacking off with KJ, you’re playing way too tight. It’s possible they’re not making any mistakes at all here.

Just a few things for you to think about. GL!

The terms you’re using are too vague. How short is a short stack? How big is a big stack? If you want to know whether you’re playing hands correctly, posting them is the best way to do that. The instinct to whine about losing is just your brain trying to protect you from acknowledging weaknesses in your game. Post the hand that you’d like to talk about, and we can give you some feedback.

And another one. It is “they” and they are out to get not just me. A lot of imagebuilding. They play to a certain principle which i believe isnt their own. I think they just copy it and play soulless. Thats why i get so aggrivated by it. Im looking to be the tablecaptain but they wont let me. Just another one, i jam my whole stack in with AJs same as OP and what does that mofo has? QQ. but ill get them. I just havent found the right adaption to it yet. But i believe it has to do with a very high mental alert. I just realize i am mentally lazy at times in my approach.

I jammed because i thought i am ahead, but mainly to gain momentum. And relying on fe.

Shipped one. Verry happy bout that. Little bit of ur advice and my own findings, patience, good folds, picking spots did it. Stayed cool. Nice. Ok, one suckout at ft. One in the whole tournament.
