Butchered and botched this one. Read is that FishGarden is a reg and s_records in a fish/ calling station. I think preflop is ok to just flat. On the flop should I be check raising small or big or is the flat ok 3way? Im lost there. On the turn is a lead the best play? What about the sizing? I think a check raise looks too strong, but maybe it matters against the reg but the fish will call with any Ace. The river is such a bad card I thought I had the deck crippled so I decided to check, which I think is also bad. Bet small on river or bomb it? God I ****ed this hand up soooo bad. Please feel free to insult my intelligence… Felt like a douche when I saw that Fishgarden flopped a set of queens and s_records had A9 no hearts. So my new nickname is the Value Butcher in addition to my other aliases ICM Disaster and Xmas time.yell

Flat preflop is something I am not in love with but is probably fine this deep.  I prefer to take betting lead and 3 bet here.

A played, on the flop I will definitely raise.  ESPECIALLY because the guy betting isnt the OR preflop, he is the limper.  So once the OR flats, I dont expect him to be all that strong so we always have great equity.

On turn, I am torn.  Part of me likes your line, another part wants to make a small raise(to like 6.5k).  I think I am leaning towards what you did and c/c.

The river is absolutely horrible, not only do we have the nut flush(straight flushes excluded), we also have the second nut flush.  So the best hand our opponent can have is the Jh(again SFs excluded), so if we check what do we really expect to happen?  We dont see bluffs all that often here imo(especially multiway), and I doubt he ever value bets.  So I think we need to throw out like a 25-30% pot bet for value here and hope to entice a call from the jack or ten.

I am actually impressed the fishgarden had a set of queens.  Would not expect that.

Sum up of thoughts:

Preflop: meh

Flop: meh

Turn: yay

River: no
