Player8 donk bets on the Q-4-2 rainbow flop.  I put him either on a pair of 4's or 2's, so I min raise.  I choose to min raise because my stack was small (19 bb to start the hand).  I think I needed to go bigger on the flop.  He bets 1/2 pot of 6400, I have 31,800.  I could go 16000, but that's 1/2 my stack so perhaps this should be a push?

Shove preflop. Flat flop lead and bluffcatch on safe runouts. I don't see BB having too many 4x and 2x in his range.

Yea, I'm leaning towards a fold and go to playing push/shove from there or shoving the donk bet.

If you choose to raise, then it has to be for a little more at least. You are effectively losing half your stack anyway by betting 12k+ because if it raised/called and you lose, you are utg so by the time the antes suck out of you and you go through an orbit of the blinds, you are crippled regardless. They will most likely take another 4k from your stack, lowering your stack by half anyways. I think the click back looks pretty nutted, but betting half your stack is way more powerful considering the villian now must be prepared to call a turn shove, because if you just bet half your stack it looks like you are never folding and ready to play a big pot. Based on your stack size though, you cant really just raise effectively. It's all or nothing. Even though he has 77, if you put him on a 2 or a 4, you should be shoving all day anyways and putting him to a decision for nearly his entire stack.

If it was me who called the click back, I apologize. Otherwise, I hate his play here from the villian. I like the donk bet but I dont think I am calling even a click back with a mid pair or even set mining and not 3betting you PF. Two many times I am exposing my weakness with a donk bet and you can click back 88+, Qx and the villian is crushed. Aggression coming from small stacks usually isnt just a bluff, so I think if you shove, he folds 80-90% of the time.

Shove preflop and avoid getting flatted by those stacks in the blinds . Will make your life a lot easier with this hand/spot.
