I just recently moved back to NJ so I've been testing out some of the regulated sites. I'm not quite moved into my new spot so I'm not really set up as I would like. While I'm staying in my brothers basement waiting to move in this Saturday I've been messing around on both Pacific Network sites (888, WSOP.com) They give me a few dollars once I sign up (10) and last night I load up a 550 GTD Rebuy. I have only one bullet, and no addon money lol. I am able to run it up early.

As I mention my poker setup is not complete or ideal. I have yet to get my HM2 running on WSOP due to an importing issue with the default file path (I fixed this later on) so I am using a simple Holdem Indicator HUD. I get some chips early and am able to open up a lot. I get to the FT running

32 VPIP/ 29 PFR

AF 4.0/ steal 88/ fold to steal 74

3bet 7/ fold to 3bet 75

cbet 65/ fold to cbet 0

over about 287 hands

At this point (actually 8 handed) I start recording so I can watch later for review.

After looking at the vid today I easily find some errors like just missing spots to steal in pos, maybe a few bluff ops.

I saw a couple where I just over play my hand and even a few times I 3bet strong hands on the flop or turn when I should maybe be bluff catching or just calling…  I saw one big spot where I tilted a little after losing a big pot when short handed that I didnt like.

I definitly tighten up alot to start the FT and I think in general tighter than my stats leading up to the final.

So I had heard about the disconnect problems because of geolocation errors in NJ. Its almost comical that I would have no issue in how ever many hours of play I put in over the last week on the other skin but for what ever reason I get booted by the site around 13 min in for a littel and have to login several times again before I can get back in. Lol Its kind of tilting to have the first time with this issue at the FT but Its not my first rodeo. I have a habit of loosing wifi at FT while I was in FL so it was a similar feeling so I just dealt with it.

I was hoping to find someone willing to watch the vid or even a few hands and give feed back. Its about 43 min.

I believe its in mp4 format.

I will try and go through the HH in H.Indicator and post a few hands here until hopefully I get a few responses. I have had a little trouble converting HH from the Indicarot text format into replayer but will give it a try again.

TPE has been a great teacher so far but I believe I need to post more hands and do more posting/discussion to really take advantage of the site.

So I guess one hand the first hand I found to question is this. To give a little context I have played a few hands with villain before FT.
I have a few notes on him as being willing to make a few moves with out a hand. At the final he has been tight. I have stolen his blind a few times as have others. Villain grows shortstacked, and the hand proir to this the other player who was short is eliminated and we are now 5 handed.

here is the text from H.Indicator replayer (having issues getting this format to convert)

Jonesey14(MP) $124644 – VP:37 PFR:7 AF:1.7 W:40|64 STL:17|78 3B:2|100 CB:0|56 N:75108 Hands:115
IAmDewman(CO) $44860 – VP:19 PFR:7 AF:1.7 W:25|25 STL:25|83 3B:6|100 CB:0|50 N:-42864 Hands:89
pokerindace(BTN) $93550 – VP:18 PFR:9 AF:Inf. W:18|40 STL:71|91 3B:1|50 CB:60|50 N:-26655 Hands:187
Donumar(BB) $200104 – VP:37 PFR:18 AF:1.6 W:49|53 STL:50|64 3B:7|60 CB:100|60 N:70119 Hands:141
Me(UTG) $127342 – VP:29 PFR:26 AF:3.1 W:33|68 STL:86|71 3B:7|71 CB:64|0 N:188381 Hands:384

Pre Flop: Me(UTG) with [Ah,Jd]
Me(UTG) raises 9755, Jonesey14(MP) folds, IAmDewman(CO) raises 44460, pokerindace(BTN) folds, Donumar(BB) folds,

(eliminated my action to discuss)

so BB is 4k
I open UTG to 9,755 with AhJd and 117k behind
With 15,755 in pot Villain jams 44k from CO
Pot is 60k and 35k to call….
Are we snap calling here? It almost looked to me at the time as if he waited to ladder and the next hand gets it in vs guy with aggro image… What ever info I have on villain its over 88 hands. Wow this might just be a foolish question after looking at the numbers in more detail. But still he has 11 bigs but playing very tight it seems and I expect his range to be ahead I think…
Thoughts please I really appreciate it, sorry for the poor format. Maybe I can add some more info on the next hand.

Yeah since he is the shorty I am definitely calling here for 11 bbs 5 handed. It would be different if he wasn't the shorty. AJo is close to the bottom of my range I am calling with here though at a final table from your stack vs a player with those stats. You still have 20 bbs if you lose and it's not for your tournament life. I am sure he shoves KQs, 77s+ A10o prob and that may be a tight range.

Thanks for the response Danny. Yeah having 20bb left is certainly a plus for calling. I like the range you are giving villain I think I can even add a few more Ax hands in his range because he is so short and was kinda of just being slowly run over by a few players at the table. There might not be a ton more to look at for this hand. I will wait a little longer and post result, then move on to the next hand I picked that is maybe a little more complicated with some post flop play.

dannys range is prob too tight and even then you can call. in some instances if you're aggro enough you can add all pocket pairs and even unsuited broadway cards into his range. you gotta call.

Yeah agree. I would def give him a wider range myself but was implying that vs that range it makes it a clear call.

Great, thanks guys. So the result is:

I call and the Villain has KhKd and I feel a little unlucky at the time until I smack the flop and Villain never improves.

This is a key pot for me giving me about 177k and 2nd in chips with chip leader on my right.

I think maybe I choose this hand maybe because after the tourney was over I felt like I really did get lucky a bit in the really big pots and wanted to get feed back.

So the next hand is about 8 hands later. 2 hands prior I observe the chip leader opening over 3x from button over my sb in what looked like a steal attempt. he and BB get to showdown adn I see he had 95s and was realling raising big to attempt to steal. He was by far the most active and had collered a few at the table already.

Ok so action is to me UTG and we are 4 handed with BB at 4k

Here are the Hud stats and action:

onesey14(BTN) $160444 - VP:38 PFR:7 AF:1.6 W:38|67 STL:15|73 3B:2|100 CB:0|50 N:111308 Hands:122
pokerindace(SB) $89150 - VP:18 PFR:9 AF:Inf. W:16|40 STL:71|92 3B:1|50 CB:60|50 N:-30655 Hands:194
Donumar(BB) $170704 - VP:39 PFR:18 AF:1.6 W:47|50 STL:50|58 3B:6|60 CB:100|50 N:69029 Hands:148
Me(UTG) $170202 - VP:29 PFR:26 AF:3.1 W:32|68 STL:87|74 3B:7|71 CB:65|0 N:157271 Hands:391

Pre Flop: Me(UTG) with [Ac,2d]
Me(UTG) raises 11055, Jonesey14(BTN) folds, pokerindace(SB) folds, Donumar(BB) calls 7055

Flop: (5h,Jh,4d) (2 players)
Donumar(BB) checks, Me(LP) bets 12855, Donumar(BB) calls 12855

Ok so as the stacks have evened out some with only one shorty, I am looking to open up some and see if I can take away some of the momenteum
and start controling the action a little, I think A2o is enough to start doind so even UTG.Looking back it appears that I choose to make it 11k maybe because I was UTG and attempting to iso the BB.
Maybe the sizing is not great. I do appreciate feed back here. I might have just set myself for a bigger cbet.

.
So I open UTG and action folds to the BB who was the most active who calls. I am not suprised at all at him defending and was planning on cbetting just about every flop vs this player.
Do this seem correct plan?

Flop comes 5hJh4d pot is 25k and we both have almost identical stacks of 158k
Villain checks and I ellect to try and win the pot here and cbet half pot 13k into 25k... thoughts on this spot? Does this sizing seem ok?
I'm not sure if I bet less than half pot I win the pot as often vs this player or maybe I'm just burning money with tis sizing...

So Villain calls pot is now 51k we each have 145k
Turn is 8c so board is 5hJh4d8c
Villain checks again.

Ok I will stop here. What is out next action?
Barrel turn?
Check turn
Check Turn give up? (unimproved)
Check Turn and re evaluate?
I feel like he has alot of flush draws, pair with gutterball, 66, 56s lots of small aces. I also think vilian can just be floating alot of other hands here like KQs.
67 in there, 78. Maybe I'm having trouble ranging Villan at this point so what is our action on the turn???
Also player on my left sitting with 160k and shorty has only 86k.
