Why did you check the turn?  I see no reason not to continue betting there.

I DONT KNOW.  I am on a $4k downswing.  I have been three, two, and one outed to death and have lost any confidence to continue with any hand.

I actually don't mind checking the turn as you probably aren't getting 3 streets of value from worse…..I'd call turn and might even bet/fold river depending on opponent or possibly check/call river against some opponents.  Depends a lot on how tight/aggro he has been.

I would have bet the turn here but checking is ok. If he only bet 50 on the turn that is wierd, I would raise that for sure the bet is very weak. It is possible he could be value betting but 50, unless he is having a sale on his value bet. LOL.

Bro there is no doubt by all your recent posts your on tilt and not playing your A game. You really should step away from the tables for a couple days and just study your game. You may see that you do have some leaks but that for the most part your playing solid and variance is bitch slapping you. Then maybe you can get that confidence back in your game because playing on tilt and doubting your game is very much -EV.

Jam over his min bet as played. This is a $6 KO so your strat should be jamming a shit ton.

I think Cougars advice makes perfect sense in a normal MTT but in these 90 Man Turbos I think you must play it differently. Just my opinion, though.

I am on an online downswing myself right now and sometimes it's hard to believe you still know how to play when things just don't seem to ever work out for you.  For myself, I usually err on the side of caution when reviewing a bust out hand or a crippling hand by 1st assuming that maybe I screwed up, got spewy, bluffed the wrong guy etc.  Sometimes I'll agree with that assessment.  Most times you review the hand(s) and say to yourself “I just got a guy to commit his whole stack when I was a 3-1, 4-1 sometimes 5-1 favorite and I got coolered. Oh well.”  My new catch phrase is going to be “getting bitch slapped by variance” thanks to JDOG1645, LOL.  I say we all laugh in the face of bad variance knowing that so long as we keep playing well and not allow our play to become standard or stale (read exploitable) then bad variance is powerless against us.  If we play long enough it will even out.  Stay strong Mcshipperson.

That being said, in a $6, raise turn, bet river.

dang, i know how it feels to lose ur confidence. mine has been missing for mths. just gotta keep grinding. as JDOG mentioned as well step away from tables for a bit. cant play well when ur second guessing decisions. cuz there is no need to slow down on that turn unless u had a plan to ck/r or set up value bet on river. as cougars post made a ton of sense as we're not getting 3 streets of value from worst. if he has a set, o well keep it moving and stay positive.
