Hey TPE pros and members! Trying to figure some sort of backing scheme for me. Here my thoughts and sort of own schedule. I do have enough bankroll to play everything less than 30$, sometimes I'm taking shots to higher buyins. I usually play two sessions per day (5days per week) in the morning and evening. I'm thinking about get backed for tourneys 30-100$, but I only will play morning tourneys from backer, and evening session by my own money. Is it possible? Also really interested what sort of deals can be made with backer and how it all stuff works?

you're probably going to be hard pressed to find backing under those terms.

you can get backed through sites like parttimepoker, chipmeup and 2+2 has a staking forum. with these sites, though, you usually have to start out small and build a reputation for being good and trustworthy before you have people staking you for longer-term deals for mid-high stakes MTTs.

and even then it's pretty special to have a backer willing to strike a deal where they only have your action for part of your schedule. if you're looking to get backed by someone within the poker community you'll most likely be playing everything for them. a deal like you describe is usually only found with someone who doesn't know much about online MTTs and how much equity they'd be giving up by letting you have your evening action.

yeah to be honest finding deals like this are extremely rare.  Usually, when someone takes some of your action and picks to back you, they want your action in everything, from $1 to $100000.  If you're really amazing at poker, you can basically ask for whatever you want and people will structure deals around you, but that's literally for the best of the best.  I doubt I could even get a deal like that.

Your best bet to get a backer is to build a reputation as a reputable guy, get results, and people will eventually come to you.  You can also do chipmeup and other sites but like Hagbard said, it takes a long time to establish yourself.

Yeap, I think it would be not easy for me to find such deals. But for example I can make a schedule of tourneys in which I will send 100% of shares (i think it possible), make it all days, when I wanna play. It sound pretty same to whole backing, but, I will have to spend lot of time selling shares and kinda get completely tired doing it. So my point is: If I want find a becker, I can seld shares, so it means that if i can sell shares all the time, I can find becker. Does it sound reasonable? -))

Also completely agree with reputation.

you can certainly sell shares of yourself, but it is a friggen hassle and usually results in you having a smaller % of yourself than your normally would.
