I am working on my (PLAN) list of things I don't want to forget during the sessions and things to do and not to do, such as hands to play by position, common mistakes I want to avoid, and a few tips to myself as reminders. I was wondering if others do the same and willing to share ideas? I don't want to copy my list here (yet) until I know I am not violating secrets or rules.

Not sure what you mean. If you plan on doing something that violates the WSOPs T&Cs then you probably shouldnt post it here, no.

I don't think he means WSOP rules. I think he means he doesn't want to violate TPE rules by posting anything. It's an innocent concern.

Curious what makes the senior event different. I mean, I know there are differences, but I wonder what they are. Someone commented on here that older players don't like going all in because “that's not real poker,” so that's an adjustment I'd think about making.

It's a nit fest, or at least that's how my “poker mom” describes it.

Not exactly sure what OP is looking for, but a few things to remember, which make your life easier

-Keep your chips in stacks of 20, and keep them organized, with the biggest denominations out front

-Always ask for a count before calling an All In. ALWAYS. I can't remember how many times I've snapped off someone's shove only to realize they had way more chips than I thought.

-Let the dealers do the chip counting. It will eliminate the possibility of a player messing it up.

-Pay attention the the action when you aren't in the hand. Can't stress this enough for playing live.

If you post your list, I'm sure some of us can help you out with what you are looking for.

The above ideas about general live play mechanics are probably the best advice you're going to get. The last thing you want is to make a chip counting mistake.

As far as your list goes, there's absolutely nothing wrong with posting it. This is a forum for sharing poker advice, so feel free to post it and the forum can give you some feedback. Good luck! 🙂
