I've been inspired by the videos and looking to make the month of August a big month, so I would like some help from the members here.

My BR on:

FT = $147

PS = $49

On FT I will be playing $1 27/45 man MTT's and the occasional big MTT's.

On Stars I usually play 25c/$1 27/45 man MTT's

Currently I can play up to 4 tables, but I usually play 2.

According to sharkscope I'm running 31% and 27% on FT and PS.

My challenge is adding volume (more tables) and get to the $5 level with 100 BI's on both sites, in other words, make $800 and be playing at least 8 tables by the end of the month. I will be using the 100 BI's rule to move up in levels. The nice part about all this is that I have all day to play, I recently lost my job, no biggie, I still have 2 weeks of paycheck coming in, and maybe 1-2 months of unemployment, so I have about 1 month of worry free time, I want to use this time to get serious and find out if I'm good at this.

Quick question for the pros and memebers, should I play in rounds of 4 tables till they're all finished or should I just keep opening tables till I reach a time limit, say 3 hours then stop opening tables and play until the current ones end, then rest and repeat for 3 more hrs? How do you manage your time and tables? Any tips on multitabling?, i.e. grouping final tables to one side of screen, or changing the felt color of final tables, any other helpful tips/advice?

Thanks, GL and see you at the tables.

im not a pro, but i multi-table a lot and can safely say it is so much more efficient to keep opening tables when you bust.  It ends up increasing your games played by so much you would be suprised.  Watch panda's $12 180 session and you will see what i mean.

+1 million to this it really adds up much more quickly than you would think…and makes your volume for the month that much better

Definitely just keep registering.  As to when you have final tables, anything that helps you distinguish them is fine, I would suggest changing them though when it's getting down to the bubble.  Especially in those low stakes tournies you want to be aware when it's getting close to the money because you can steal alot of chips.

Oh, I forgot to ask, how and where can I get rakeback on my existing accounts?

On FT I signed up through bonusgenius in order to get PokerTracker for free, and on PS I signed up on my own, no bonus, no rakebake, no nothing.

i believe raketherake will give you rake on an existing account and on stars its all about volume the more u play the points you earn and the higher status and those  togther can = rake with cashing in points ect,

also if i were you and you feel your running good playing well id keep loading games , if your running bad but still playing well making good decsions id keep playing its just varaince but when i feel im overloaded at the min its always best to take a break and regroup , but if your comfortable and youll get to the point were u can play many games like turbos ect were your making 15 second time bank decsions then focus on playing well  and putting in the volume also i use …..ninja.com/   u can set it to what ever game u like and for however long you want to play and for how many games at once , and it will load them for you , and you can have preset bet sizing amounts ect , helps huge when multi tabling when the bet amount is set for you , excample i myself use 4x threw the 50 blind level then 3x threw 100 blind level and 2.5 x threw 200 blind level anything more then that its 2.25x and its preset , also i have flop turn river % set say 70% flop 66% turn 55% river of course you can set these to whatever works best for you and theres hotkeys ect for like allin,fold ect .the really cool feature that i like is it displays your stack size in red numbers in the upper corner so you always no how many bbs you have. ron has this in one of his vids if you wanna see more.really helps speed up your play and you can get a 30 day free trail so check it out hope it helps bud gl with your goal its always good to have a goal

Todays results:

– On PS +$35

– On FT  -$10

15% ROI for today, sux Frown

I only played 26 MTT's today (need more volume). I found out I really can't manage 4, ran terrible on FT and I think it was because I was playing 4 tables. On PS I ran a little better because I opened only two, sometimes 3. I also played some $1/90man turbos and really liked them, made 2nd, 3rd and won $11 T$ on a 1/4 MM sattelite. Really liked the turbos, cause if you have a monster you can almost always get your chips in the middle.

Regarding turbos, do guys thinks it's ok to open our whole range from MP-LP if it's folded to us?

I never open anything but premiums in any pos.  Your edge will come later in the tourny when you start picking off people shoving light and also people not calling your shoves correctly.  And there is really no need to balance range because it moves so quickly.

Haven't  been able to play, cause my son was in the hospital, but everything is ok now, nothing serious.

Today I started like at 6pm and finished my session at 11pm, so about 5hrs total. Played 2 tables at a time. Only played at Stars today. Tomorrow I will hit FullTilt.

OK, so on to the numbers:

Played 16 tourneys, ABI (average buy in) $1.10

ROI was 256%, so for today I'm up $45 on my stars account.Cool

Looks like my goal is definitely doable, just need more volume.

do whats comfortable for you and if you feel your game is affected by volume keep it lower. But i also think that maybe your ready to promote yourself to a higher buyin level, with the results im seeing maybe youve earnd it

Now I see why you are upset with a 15% ROI,

As for volume, I know that I started playing 2 tables like lots of other high volume players, and just gradually worked my way up.  I didn't even notice the progression really, because I did it so slowly.  A good way to do it is maybe load two turbos and a normal speed MTT, so when you get to the push, fold part of the turbo, you are still in the early mid stages of the MTT and are still playing relatively tight.  This allows you to focus on the turbos more in the most important stage.  Maybe try and 3 or four table the $1 90 mans because they are at the low end of your buy in level.  I generally tend to have the same amount of money in play when I start a session.  So i usually 10-12 table the $16 turbos, but if i play the $55 nightly, the 11r, and the $33 tourney that runs around that time, ill just play three or four $12 180 mans.  This probably doesn't make a lot of sense and i don't do it really on purpose, just something i have noticed.  I guess what I am trying to say is if you are going to really put in a lot of tables, you have to be well rolled because swings happen really fast.
