Hi everyone,

i´ve just won the $11 3K GTD for a $1026 prize!!

I´m so happy with this win (the win itself is way better than the money for me right now) that i couldn´t not share with you guys!! And that´s because in some way you are responsable for that achievement too 😉 I mean… since i´m here i´ve learned a LOT viewing the videos and reading many articles and forum posts. I´ve been working really hard in the last months… every night i fall asleep watching one of your videos…ehehehe… believe me, it´s true!! So… this win means a lot to me…it means essentially that hard work pays off!!! And believing it´s possible pays off too !!

Since the beginning of the year i´ve been busto for many many tourneys when i´m at least a 60% favourite pre and i´ve been loosing all that hands, and seeing my aces or kings beeing constantly crashed by rags , etc etc. It was impressive… and that was a big big test for my patience and especially for my mental game. So i guess i´ve been getting better at that part and this result may be a consequence of that because i did it in the middle of this “bad run” thing… lol

Sorry if this is not a very interesting post (LOL) but it´s my way to say THANKS for sharing your knowledge (pros and members… special thanks to redvulture61 and markconkle 😉 and all the pros with whom i´ve been learning a lot!

Cheers

Good job! It’s always so nice to bink that first, you get confidence back and play better overall! and a 4 score bink is always nice no matter what roll you are at!

Keep up the good work! Now work on the next 😉

Congrats!  Dont rest on your laurel's though.  I know a lot of people who have gotten complacent after they first reach succes.  Think they are good enough to do fine and just grind out steady money.  Poker is a game of constant work and improvement.   If not to learn, to refresh and ingrain.  Keep studying, keeping working, and only good results will come!

Thanks a lot ccuster911

And yes i'm not going to do that! Nothing changed in the way i'm working my game 😉 the only thing that changed was the way i now deal with bad beats (now i'm starting to feel good about that ;)) and have more confidence playing. But i know i have a lot of leaks to work on and i'm still making a lot of mistakes and beeing to passive in a lot of situations. So theres plenty to work on 😉

After this mtt win i've already won more $500 in some sits and mtts. Today i'm studying a bit live poker because i'm going for day 2 of a live tourney.

I posted in the live poker forum section about that and any advice would be good cause i will start the day with a 26bb stack.

Tx a lot
Cheers
