When I think about what he would lead the flop, check the turn, then make a value sized bet with on the river. It smells like either a boat (6’s full usually), trips, that he was going for a check raise on the turn, or hes bluffing, but rarely will you see people bluff with the line this guys took. If he’s a big fish he could be value owning himself here with like 77-99, or A6s, or maybe even 67s.

I would never fold on river as played, unless he did something really crazy.

I play basically the same. Do we think that the donker is ever checking trips or better on the turn? probably not. It doesnt make sense to donk lead trips or better on the flop then check the turn when they are more inclined to get value from people betting on the flop and being able to check/raise.

Seems like villains range is probably some OESD, gutters and backdoor fd combos. Even so, i like checking the turn then calling the river.
