Ok, right away I see that Villain with a 24bb stack is opening around 15% his range and could look something like this:22+,A8s+,KTs+,QTs+,JTs,AJo+,KJo+,QJo
I’m not sure trapping is the best play and since he’s under the gun his range should be relatively tight here. I think def. a 3-bet preflop to something like 5,280 ish. because we want our opponents to make mistakes of calling with the wrong hands and we want to discourage them to call when they have the right hands by bet sizing. So we def. want some action but IDK about multi way. So if BB is calling because of x reason, he’s giving utg a better price to call with his weaker hands. If BB folds, UTG might fold but he might not, and might wake up with something like 88-QQ, maybe 77,AK,AQ,AJ and just shove, then BOOM! it’s a It’s max value for you. But you said as played so let me continue looking at the hand…
Flop c- bet sizing should also be bigger to something like 5500 or even a little bigger. Same thing with the turn, make it something like 15,500.
For certain though, a preflop 3-bet is best. Wouldn’t you rather win a small pot vs potentially lose a bigger one?
