I'll admit it, I can't multi table.

Once I pass four tables my mind freaks and I ignore information to “hurry up and click”. I also get tilted by the constant pop ups.

Any advice on improving? Any drills/strategies to help me reach more tables while maintaining my A game?

try installing a HUD to track info also try to stay away from shorthanded tables as it desires more of your attention and try to not pay attention to the inevitable ie. when your allin and get a call its pointless to watch the action as it aint changing anything and i also get rid of the volume as it becomes very annoying with all the action and the beeping, and last but not least know and trust your own game just know and remember where you raised where you have flatted and dont let a tourney or suckouts or bad beats affect the other tourneys maintaining tilt control is imperative.

The HUD really helps that ttwist mentioned. Also, don't kill yourself multi-tabling, do what is comfortable and when you get use to it add another table. If you add too many tables it becomes -eV if you cannot process the information. I like to keep plenty of water nearby and some easy snack like grapes or cheese, minimize moving around, since breaks do not always start at the same time.

i find the best thing to do is just put some volume in. you cant be expected to play 4 tables for a few hours and then jump right up to playing 10 tables.

basically play as much as you can at 4 tables, and then just add 1 more, and  play a bunch more. soon you will be playing 6 like it was nothing.

fwiw, you will have a natural limit as well that you kinda have to find out yourself. if that is only 4 then thats not bad. but i have worked out that any more than 6 6max cash tables and i start to struggle, but i can play up to about 10 tourneys effectively, and prolly up to about 15 45man sngs.

It's all about personal preference.  Don't play more then you feel comfortable.  For me I don't like playing more then 8 because then I feel I'm losing to much of an edge by adding that 9th and 10th table.  So just play as many as you feel comfortable and can play optimally.  It's better to play 4 and play your best game then to play 8 and play half as good.

Thanks for the advice.

Naturally, it differs completely from MTT's to cash. Cash I can play up to three 6 max tables and feel like I'm still recieving all the necessary information to make the best possible decision. MTT's I can play up to five or six and still feel like I have an edge, just not as big of an edge as four tables.

I researched (through HEM), and I found that my winrate is a parabola increasing from one table until four tables, then decreases until seven tables.

I guess it's just practice that can increase my tolerance.

Yeah it has pretty much been covered above. But a HUD and learning how to use the hud properly is hugely important. It allows you to have information on hand without having to watch literally every hand. Once you learn how certain stats reflect certain player tendancies you are well on your way.

You are probably best served doing that while 4-tabling, then as previously mentioned, add 1 table until it feels comfortable, then another once you mastered 5.. so on and so forth.
