Had a question for you guys that grind MTT SNG's….18 – 45 mans…..

I usually play 4 tables at a time, but decided to up that to 9 today. I had decent results, but found as the blinds got bigger it was a bit frantic at times. Question is for those that grind, do you keep reloading tables as you fall out or do you open up the amount you want, and focus on the ones you get deeper in before starting a brand new session?

Sorry if wrong section….move if you need to admins.

I do sessions….after it is over, I evaluate that session.

I try to remember the mistakes I made and then continue on.

Also, I try to mix in different SnGs. For ex, I do not reg for the same size SnGs. I normally do a 45, 27, 18, 9…..or 90, 45(turbo) , 27(turbo),18, 45, 27.

That way you are going through different stages of the game all the time.

I do the exact opposite… I'll play only 90 Man KO's or only 180 Turbos etc. so I don't get mixed up with how to play in each game.

I always try to run one format (game/speed/size) at the same time to avoid confusion.

I play stacked so you only see one play at a time, make your decision and move on.

I would suggest a multi-table program such as Table Ninja, or hjalper for stars …..alper.com/. (see more on 2+2)

Ninja has auoto reging features that eliminate the need for you to do anything but play. I also like the fact it will put a HUD on each table showing your BB remaining which makes multitabling easy even if one tourney is at the final table and one is just starting.

IMO hjalper is the nuts, it is in beta right now so you can try it for free. I have run as many 20 tables stacked ($1.10 DoN sng's) with no lag on my system. I regularly ran 12-16 tables. I run fewer MTT's at a time because there is usually more thought/time required to make decisions. You can even use this thing with an XBox 360 controller which means you can sit back in your chair and bang away without being hunched over a comp. all day.

These types of programs are the key to unlock big volume if that's what you're after.

Lmao…maybe we can learn off each other…my brain just associates one mindset for one table each time…lol
