A lesson I learned the hard way:
Make sure you have time to play and win every tournament you play. It sounds obvious but sometimes you might underestimate how long a game will take. Larger fields will greatly increase the time a tourney takes as will the paces of blind increase.
yeah, there should not be a drastic difference in strategy in those. One challenge I did have when i used to play alot of MTT SNGS was if I tried to mix them. in other words play two 18 mans, three 45 mans and two 180s. It tended to confuse the shit out of me.
Yo might not have the same issue, but Id suggest maybe sticking to one format. at least if you are playing A LOT of tables.
Good luck!

As others have said, changing formats between those games isn't going to feel massively different. The 27 and 45 mans will have a slightly higher level of variance, that's all. Change whenever you feel like you want to change.
Although, having said that, 'several dozen' 18-man SNGs is really nothing in terms of a sample. You won't know whether you're a winning player until you've played several thousand, so you may want to focus on getting in some volume in one game before you move onto another one, otherwise you'll never really know your winrate.
