This was a hand I played at the Jacksonville Poker Room interested to hear what you guys think. It was a $125 tourney with 24 runners. I am on the BB with 25 bb, B has 40 bb, and SB has 16 bb. The hand before I doubled through the big blind by floating a king high flop hitting my queen on the turn and calling off his bluff. I was dealt 9h9c in BB Button raises 3x and SB flats I 3bet a full 3x and everyone flats. The flop is 7h8hTh. The BB open shoves his stack. I know I have the straight flush draw but I afraid of bigger flushed and there is still one left to act so I fold. What do you guys think about the fold?
Clearly a call/iso ai imo. He's gonna do this with most AhX hands, A9, 89s etc. Only hand you'r afraid of is hands like AhTx. The guy is fairly unlikely to have a Tx hand, you can rule of TT+ since he should have shoved that pre. Chances of someone flopping flush is below 1%, and even then you have outs(most cases lol).
Next time go for the big stack! In MTTs you can't pass up even EV -+0 spots.

Just wondering. If this hand is me I don't have a flop decision. With 25 BBs this is a shove (snap shove).
As played after the SB jam. I probadly puke shove. Cause if I have this figured right there are 27 BBs in pot and the SB jammed 7BBs.
Shove and pray you are ahead.
Just shove this pre.
I agree w wyld to shove this pre – we're way ahead of a 40BB button open, and the other guy over-flats a 3bet for >50% of his stack OOP.. he sucks
As played i would iso too, we have decent equity against his jamming range and we're getting almost 4:1 – and we're not even that big a dog against AhTc on that board
