I don’t know how V calls 3bb with a 10bb stack. So we can establish he made a bad decision preflop. The other question is what you do after the flop. It’s a hard flop to C-bet into 2 people with, but I guess it balances your range? Not sure how this works in this context. At least you still have 22bb left.

because he is bad and bad players tend to make bad calls.

3 ways i am def checking flop and most likely calling 1vs BTN depending on sizing.

folding if BTN bets and UTG calls.

guess if we re heads up and BTN shoves we are priced in to call.

So the reason I c-bet was because I decided to ignore the BB in the hand because he called of 3BB of 10BB and my risk there is now capped at 7BB left.  So I am in my mind, playing against the dealer.  So I decide to c-bet to play as AK and KQ/KJ are in my range here.   Once the dealer makes the flop call, I could check the turn, but the Ace comes and if he has a King he might (poorly I admit) fold his last 2.5BB.  (At this point, I am perhaps mentally writing off the last 2.5BB and going to showdown.)

Is there a better line to have taken here?
