Hey guys,
This hand came up around the 2h 30m mark of a $1 rebuy tournament on Stars. The villian has limped many pots throughout the past 5-6 orbits. He has managed to donk up a stack handing out a number of coolers and after looking this guy up, he's simply dead money playing the craps.
Take a look at the hand and tell me what you would do and why? I'll post my play soon…

My initial thought pre-flop was that I wanted to play with this guy post flop because he's a bad player and oop. Should I have jammed his limp w/ 19bb? I know AQ doesn't necessarily play well post-flop, but I felt like I could squeeze a little more out of him prior to getting it all-in.
Having made that play, we get to a flop that imo hits his limp/calling range. So, do we give up or jam knowing we'll most likely get called given our lack of fold equity?
I play quite a few small stakes turbos and I’m seeing this situation quite often.
Since you are only 20bb deep I jam this preflop over his limp every time. these guys spaz out so often and decide your bluffing and call it off with hands like A9 and QJ.
The reason I don’t like to 4x or whatever is that it puts you in such a tricky spot postflop when they flat you and you miss, which is gonna be a large majority of the time. Now your faced with having to cbet/fold with 9bb in the pot and only 16bb behind.
Save yourself the tricky post flop decisions and just jam what is likely the best hand for value.
I like the Jam, but I was thinking since he is limping so wide I wouldnt mind a stop an go kind of play here. You play as you did and jam every flop. Okay if he has an odd King so be it but the onyl advantage here is we are assuming he folds all his kings pre and calls always with his kings. Beside K is the only real card you hate to see on the flop.
I do get he could fold some hands on the flop that he could have spasses out and called as mentioned before though.
Again jamming is probably cleaner / better EV but I dont mind this play agaiinst this wide limper. More risk but more reward
Anyway Am i nuts?
