Any feedback on the first hand? I folded JJ in-game mostly because the button squeeze was a big 3-bet and I don’t know if JJ was strong enough for a 4-bet-shove in to 4 people (which feels more like a steal attempt than a value-shove). I didn’t know how much fold equity I can count on here and a call was likely to be a flip at best. I decided to try for a better spot since I had 26BB and not much of a read yet.
His 3-bet sizing is huge. If his goal was to isolate me and get me all in it was perfect sizing since I can’t imagine re-raising without shoving, especially out-of-position with others behind. Since I’m removing an iso from his thinking, I’m left with a mental coin flip to decide if he is squeezing light or not. Without a read I don’t know if I can assign any ranges to his bet sizing. I don’t know if he would raise less with AA or KK and more with AK, QQ or TT for example.
Looking at the price, I’m paying 4,900 to win ~6,400 (11,300 pot), if V is the only caller to my shove, right?
Looking at the situation from V’s perspective (for fold equity), I still don’t know if I would have hated a re-steal attempt. The size of my shove would have created a lot of pressure and V might give it more respect because I’m shoving into 2 others. If he does call I may still be ahead.
I really should plug this into the equation you (Andrew) dropped into another post but I have to run out the door in 5 min. Plus, I’m not confident that I can boil down my last point above into a section of an EV solution.
Any thoughts?

The JJ hand villains sizing looks weak to me without having any info on dynamics with him. I don’t see this sizing as being AA, KK, QQ, AK, or AQ. Personally, I feel JJ is prob ahead and ahead by quit a bit. I feel his sizing says he doesn’t want action with 88-1010 maybe AJ. How has he been playing against some people I love this spot and am never folding gladly getting it in pre, others I fold without thinking twice. Any history with this villain?
