Hey guys.
Maybe this has been discussed before, but does anyone think there is more variance at the micro level due to there being more casual/recreational player that want to gamble more?
there sometimes can be more variance at micros, but this is due to poorer structures and much larger field sizes,
all else equal there is larger variance the higher the buy in as your skill edge gets smaller and there are less soft spots.
imo
if you are a good player I think it should be less variance cause there are MORE bad players, and you can get it in more often being far ahead and people fold less which means they pay you off much more.

Especially in cash games. In MTT's and STT's one stands the risk of going bust when the bad players (those playing worse than i do) hit.
