Hi guys. I would like to ask what you think about my play on this hand that appeared on the final table bubble of Merge's 25K guaranteed high roller tournament.
Before we get into the actual hand I would like to point out a hand that occured an orbit earlier where I 4-bet the same villain:

Here I thought he might be 3-betting me light and my 4-bet should look really strong as I opened utg and he 3-bet from utg+1. My read on him was that he is certainly not a nit and seems to know what he is doing.
The cold caller in the following hand is a fish and I wasn't worried at all that he might be trapping with the flat call. The fishes dead money in the pot and the fact that it is a final table bubble and he is probably opening with a wide range made me decide to 3-bet shove this from the BB. However, I did not take it into account that I just 4-bet him an orbit ago which could make him not want to open as wide against my BB since he knows I can play back at him. What do you guys think?

I don't really think he's going to be adjusting his opening range that much based on your stated history of four-betting him, as much as he is based on your stack size. But if he's a good player he should be seeing three players of the four behind him who aren't going to be flat calling much and could easily shove on him. That should make his range pretty tight. I think ICM wise this is probably a call. (I don't know the field size on Merge, are you in the money?)
Your hand is way too strong to fold given the pot odds, you risk by shoving and either the opener or the caller could have plenty of hands to call you with that crush you. The cold caller really shouldn't be calling too wide here for example given the stacks but he also can't three-bet/call 99 so easily ICM wise v the opener. So I think his flatting range has a ton of hands like that which are strong, but not strong enough to get in v opener, but also are very hapy to be shoved on from behind. Given you have a playable hand and you are capping the action I would just flat here.

We are in the money with 10th place getting $588 and first place getting $6,8K.
The thing is, I'm giving the flat caller a much wider range. He liked to call flat a lot pre-flop and seemed pretty clueless. Only hand that he would flat with that has us dominated is AJ. In hinsight probably flat would have been the best option, at the moment I just thought the opener's range to be wide enough and the flatter's range to be pretty weak as well.

I think the shove is profitable with the opener's wide range and the fish's dead money. I would actually be more inclined to rip KJs and flat KJo. There is so much to gain by shoving in this spot and KJs has so much more equity vs a calling range. With a hand like KJo, I would just try to flop a pair or straightdraw to GII on the flop or call down.
