Anyone have any tips for logging hand histories during live MTTs?

I’ve been trying to log my hands as I go lately but I’m wondering if there is a better way to go about it.  I’m using the iOS notes app with this format:

100/200 9 Handed

UTG2 <Hand> <action>

UTG1 <Hand> <action>

Next Blind Level

This seems to work pretty well but I find that I’m sometimes missing things between hands because I’m spending too much time logging hands.  This could just be a byproduct of me typing slowly but I think a better system could also help.

Any tips for getting better at this?  Or is there an app that is more suited than just notes?

I’m interested in this too. I’ve been thinking about making an app a side-project but I just can’t believe there isn’t something out there already. I found this thread with a few links but I haven’t tried any yet: https://www.runitonce.com/other/dedicated-hand-history-app/

Very late bump on this post…

Why not drop Clayton a tweet or email (@claytoncomic) – I’m always really impressed with the level of detail he manages to note and remember on the podcast and am sure he’d be willing to share tips.
