This happened on Event #36 last year, 1000 USD No Limit Hold'em Tournament. I won a side event package and felt a bit lost with my limikted experience.

Blinds are 50/100 (3rd blind level), my stack is around 6.000 (starting stack was 3.000).

I have AKo.

UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, next player folds, I raise to 500. Everyone folds, except the UTG who calls. Pot is 1.250

Flop: Q62r

UTG bets 500, Hero ???

UTG is at the table for 2-3 orbits and he limped several times before. I did not see any showdown from him. My image is tight.

I say its highly dependent on your read.  Does he seem like a Pro pushing amateurs around?, or just a hit or miss guy (likes to see flops…bets if hits).  He must be limping wide and since he hasnt shown down most likely he is pushing the table until he gets some resistance, I say you reraise small say 1200 and if you get any more action lay it down.  If I am nto mistaken these tourneys play like turbos.

I like raising this too, if even for meta reasons, i prolly go 1300-1400 or so.

I pretty much never believe this line…

hard to say without knowing what Villain's stack is.

but no matter what, betting pot and folding is maybe the last thing you should do.

depending on his stack and how he plays i can see raise/folding, raise/calling, shoving, calling and folding all being viable options.

yeah I think hag's advice here is solid.  betting pot and folding is def the worst option.
