Live Tourney – 900 players.
81 pay and we are hand for hand at the bubble at 82 players.

Stacks: Hero has 80k and Villain has 100k.

V: 25-30 yr old white girl. Seems savvy, intelligent and thoughtful. On the TAG side but her limp here had me updating my opinions on her.

Hero: With her I have a solid TAG image.

Blinds: 1500-3000-500

Villain limps from early Mid-Position. CO limps. Hero raises to 8k from BTN with QJ. V calls and CO folds.

POT= about 28k
Flop: Q72
Check. Hero bets 15k. V calls. Pot= about 58k

Turn: 8
V bets 10k. Hero calls.

Pot= 78k
River: 8
V bets 12k….wtf?

I would love your thoughts on all streets here.

Pre-flop I wouldn't hate limping behind and keeping the pot smaller, depending on our read on the CO. Certainly online most players auto-call when they've limped and I'm not sure I'd want to be playing an inflated 3-way pot with QJs at less than 30bb. Should make decisions a bit easier postflop.

Not sure what she is limping here, especially if we've not seen it before. What were other stacks like? I have seen players limp when there are reshove stacks behind and they want to lose the minimum if they have to fold. I'm guessing suited connectors and the more speculative hands.

Flop I think is fine. Again I think we could make it smaller but I guess we don't want to price in the flushes.

Turn is weird. I am probably putting her on either a flush draw wanting to see a cheap river with a blocker bet, or a 78 that now has two pair. If she was aware of stacks sizes she may not have wanted you to feel threatened for your stack.

River is also weird, and I'm probably putting her on the same hands: 78 or a missed flush draw.

Although you should probably be checking with the dealer as it would appear you have two 8c in the deck!
