another 190$ live tourney 15.000 starting stack  30 min levels 2 days

24 players cash  32 players remaining blinds (just went up to) 4000-8000 +ante

hero bb ~ 90k  7heart3spade

villain button ~ 110k  young low buyin reg, sat with me on the table for an hour or so, made some crazy plays but also some laydowns,  would be happy to get into the money,  just lost a big pot (70k) some hands earlier,

villain raises 21k, hero all in

what do you think is there enough fold equity to make this play?

wow u sicko!laugh

not sure i coulda muster up the balls to make this play. neither of us are deep so i'd weigh my decision on the factors you've stated – image, raise-folds before, willingness to cash etc rather than the pure amount of FE we have in terms of giving him bad odds to call.

i like it 😀

nothing better than getting called by AK and getting there with the 73 as well, you can get KQ in for value next time after that 😀

I don’t think you have much FE. You are the effective
Stack here and most competent players aren’t
raise-folding to an 11 bb stack.

I really prefer a fold in this spot, but if you’re going
To get tricky….I think a stop and go is best.

personally i don't think you've got enough fe here for the play. i do like the play alot just think you're getting called by virtually everything he's raising in this spot. if you were both deeper it would be so much better but this shallow it's not so good.

Your question is if there is FE here. The answer is no imo. You are 3bet shoving 11bb's vs a villian with not much more than yourself who almost 3x opens. You say he is a regular so therefore if he is 3x opening he prob looked at the stacks behind him and was planning on calling you.
