Blinds 1000/2000 ante 300

19 players left 12 paid but all the money is in top 3

I raised to 5k UTG w/ 60K left behind with AspadeKclub

Sb flats with 22k left behind

Flop JdiamondJclub3diamond

I c-bet 9K and sb re-raises 22K all in

We just re-drew seats for final 2 tables and I did not play with Sb before.

Forgive me in advance because I'm new guys and I have some questions that others see easily.

Questions:

After I c-bet is this shove a standard call or fold?

Since my Ace is not a diamond would that make a difference because he could have nut flush drawl?

The Sb looked close to 70 years old is this a factor?

Should the fact that I have close to 20BB left if I lose be a factor in my decision or is it irrelevant?

basically this is a daily at the Aria?  I don't mind pre, but your cbet is too big.  Why 9K? make it 5-7k and you find out teh same thing. or you can actually do 3.5k even.  He either is jamming and not playing.  You have to figure out before the flop what your next move is.  Maybe you chk the flop and see what he does.  There are some good players in the daily's but a few clowns/donks mixed in.  I think after you cbet 9k you have to call his All-in.  You have too much money out there to not take a shot and hope he had T7dd.  Some times the old guys get tired and spew, but others will jam big hands.  As far as you having 20bbs.  It's kind of a standard spot to open.  In these tourneys you get short in teh end and it becomes a shove fest.  At that point, it's all about trying to pick a spot or two to steal and you also need to get lucky and suckout a few times or just cooler someone.

glgl in the future.  smaller bet on flop.

Your stack size should always be a factor and so should any read you have including just the fact that he’s an old guy making his plays more likely to be ABC. I agree with Pierre that the cbet sizing is the basic problem here. Actually the open is too big also given the stage of the tournament. It basically means that he doesn’t have to have too many bluffs in his range for you to call which gives you a tough (aka crappy) spot. Bet smaller and then fold to his jam.
