i would like some opinions on a hand. I believe it was a pretty standard spot, but I believe understanding stack sizes is my biggest leak, so I’d like some opinions.
Hero is early 30’s pretty solid image. Fairly active but haven’t shown down anything crazy.
Villian is mid 40’s, has been running pretty hot, but also playing pretty well. He showed up with some weird hands once or twice.
Action goes as follows
Blinds 200-600-1200
folds to villain in the cutoff, opens to 3300 from a 70K stack. Button (22,000) and SB (65,000) both fold.
I call in BB with 10h 9d off of 43K.
8,400 in pot

10 A 9 all clubs.
i check. Villian bets 7,000

I think your call pre is good. dream flop. WET board, but I think his bet tells you he doesn’t have much or a weak A. I would call and see what turn brings. Plus, depending on what the turn card is you set yourself up for an all-in bet on the turn. There are some scary turn cards, but I think u just cross fingers, hope he has an Ax and you get a full double.
