Readless I would say line is fine. After K hits you try to get to show down. No need to get C/R on turn. River is just a fold. Think this line was fine. He did call a three bet pre, unless he is an absolute maniac he had something.

I bet turn aswel here. Maybe 2200 and maybe he folds. If he comes along I evaluate river but I rarely check turn here

Cbet flop for sure. i bet the turn since the river not likely to improve your hand (but it may improve his) plus people love to float the cbet these days and take it away on the riv when you check turn.

In all honesty, i may hero call here since i dont see him overshoving a flush here hoping you caught the K on the turn and checked. Shame you have no reads, i see maniacs do this all the time at small stakes with AJ or TT

I like your line for sure until the turn. I really think we gotta bet this turn. Not going off results either. I always bet this turn because the single float is used so much now that when u slow down on the turn it gives him bluff spot on the river if cards show up that looks like a completed draw or any scare card. If he did have a flush draw it would be hard for him to chase it down to the river if u bet turn. I might find a hero call here, depends on if you think he goes for the float/steal.

your line is fine. betting the turn is an option and with certain history could be best, but here i think i like checking. if you think about it, betting turn to keep him from bluffing the river is kind of illogical, as it means he'll just be folding the turn a bunch and we miss out on river value. i like a check because given PF we put a lot of pressure on the 88-JJ portion of his range that we obviously don't want to fold.

I never looked at it that way. Personally, I bet to avoid a tough decision on the river and maybe folding the best hand. I think continued aggression gives me a better idea of how strong my opponents hand is and reduces the chances of him shipping it in. If my hand is much stronger I maybe check then again I miss value if he has a spade draw an also let him peel off a spade.

I like this thread. It has got me thinking a bit. Very good hand to post

Hagbard, why would you check turn giving a possible flush draw a free card?
