seriously ask yourself, are you being results oriented in this post?

seems to be like you both flopped monsters and the moneh was going in whatever happened. obviously a crushing river card, but i dont think you could do much about that

On that flop you wanna get the chips in the middle as soon as possible, bottom 2 pair is always susceptible to redraws or counterfeit. Nothing much more to say. UL dude

yeah, does not matter much how you play it, the chips are all getting in.  Just unlucky and regardless of results I think you played it fine.

mate – as soon as read the post and saw the flop i said to myself

“i'm betting and getting it in here for sure”

i hope you're not asking yourself

'could i have played more passively and controlled the pot if i see a 3rd spade hit to slow down'

b/c we are good so many times here

we're just ul that as soon as HE saw the flop he said “im getting it in here for sure” too!

Before my last bet on the flop I was pondering if I should ship it all in or re raise.

Thanks for all the replys

yeah on the flop i'd always 4bet my entire stack and get it in

in this case he wouldnt have folded anyway

fact of the matter is, you flop as hard as you can HU, and get raised, so you wanna play for stacks

just fade it next time buddysmile

hmmm.

just been playing with pokerstove, and i am wondering whether its as clear as we make it out to be

i think bvb, villain 3bets a whole bunch of ace hands so it takes a lot of those hands away from us.

with our pot odds its still probably a shove once we get raised but its not cut and dry.

or am i overthinking this a bit?

here is a tight range, assuming we bet 3bet a bunch of the time with AJ+ hands. it actually doesn't look that great for us. i think the fact that the A isn't a spade changes this hand a LOT

here is a slightly wider range
