IPoker, $4.55 Buy-in (60/120 blinds) No Limit Hold’em Tournament, 9 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager – The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: 880 (7.3 bb)
BB: 2,115 (17.6 bb)
UTG+1: 2,555 (21.3 bb)
Hero (UTG+2): 6,530 (54.4 bb)
MP1: 2,000 (16.7 bb)
MP2: 1,845 (15.4 bb)
MP3: 3,212 (26.8 bb)
CO: 4,180 (34.8 bb)
BTN: 2,836 (23.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with 4diamond 4club
UTG+1 calls 120, Hero calls 120, 2 folds, MP3 calls 120, 2 folds, SB raises to 880 and is all-in, 2 folds, Hero isolate??

I limped this pot for set value reasons, haven´t noticed the SB there at the time; Then, when SB shoves and get to me I wonder is me shoving is good, I think SB range is wide enough to be a flip very often, and MP3 probably don´t have a strong hold there, and will fold, I think he does fold 88 there, maybe call 99+… I am wrong on this ranges? What you guys do?

Fold pre, because of the stack size of the BB.

As played I’d still fold. I don’t want to iso with 44, even if MP3 is weak he may be weak but stronger than us (77) and inclined to call and we are going to be flipping with the BB anyway. Clear fold for me.

I can’t give you feedback on SB’s range if you don’t post one…

I think is wide like 22+, A2s+, K2s+, Q6s+, J7s+, T8s+, 97s+, 87s, 76s, 65s, 54s, A2o+, K6o+, Q9o+, J9o+, T8o+, 98o, 87o, that is 43.59% on my equilab.

Am I being to optimistc with this range?

Too optimistic IMO. SB has to figure someone will call him, so he can’t jam really weak stuff like K2s or 87o. Keep in mind that he also has the option to complete and see a cheap flop, which may be more appealing with some of these hands as well.
