What do you think about these formats and the correct rebuy strategy for them.

Formats:  1rby/1addon, 2rby/1addon, 3rby/1addon

the 3rby has an obvious strategy of immediately rebuying then rebuying twice if you get stacked in the first few stages.

the 2rby I have usually just been rebuying and if I get stacked I have the 1 rebuy to fall back on

I don't use the 1rby until about 45-50mins in if I am able to. This is because I still want the protection if I lose a big pot early.

what do you guys think? what do you do with these limited rebuy structures?

I always rebuy for the maximum so that I have an opportunity to double up to the maximum. I'd never considered only rebuying in these when busting… I always wanted to maximise my potential.

Do not play these tournaments unless you are willing to buy in max. I say this for cash games to, buy in max so we can have as many opponents covered in order to maximize profit when we make hands. More chips equals more flops which in turn will result in more mistakes are opponents can make.
