im 14 of 60 at this point in the tourny and have been fairly active. No reads on villain and no previous history. He is the chip leader in the tournament. blind levels are 30 mins long so plenty of room for manouvre.

4bet to 24k/call. check/call on A/K high boards if he flats and prob just jam flops that you miss. Have you seen any of his opens yet regarding sizing?

the structure makes me want to play this passively but his sizing makes it really hard to do anything other than fold or 4bet/get it in and his bet sizing makes me think he is a tard.

we can def just flat here, not sure why you are so happy to get in 60bb with AK….flat>fold>get it in….we have position on someone who is basically defining there hand as TT+ and AJ+, i dont see anyting wrong with peeling a flop, if we miss and fold we still have 50+bb, and if we hit it we can let him barrell into us and go from there….

i think wanting to get it 64bb with AK is sooooooo spewey with no history, are you praying for a flip? you think villian stacks off AQ or AJ this deep? what do you think we have  crushed that you want to get in this many chips this deep in the tournament with? i think that woudl be one of the worst decisions possible as we only have A high

I like a flat pre. Unless we know for sure that villain can spaz with worse Ax (and we don't) I think getting into a raising war pf this deep is semi-bad.

Shawn, i think someone who bets 5x prob has a tightish 3betting range and a far too wide and 5betting range

ie they dont fold AJ AQ pre, And we have blockers to AA and KK and have enough equity against a range of AJ+ 1010+

basically i never think he 3bet/folds after that sizing and think his range is wide enough to get it in.

Im assuming villain is bad based on his bet sizing and i dislike flatting due to his sizing and we have to fold on 65ish% of flops.

At this sizing and buy in i am pretty happy to get it in v this opponent. (which could be horrible but thats my rational and assumptions i made)

The other thing we have to consider is if we do flat and flop and A or K we probably aren't getting much value from TT-QQ.  If we have been fairly active and we think they realize this I have zero issues 4b/calling here.  It's a easy 4b/call if we know they are capable of spazzing out with worse aces but that's impossible to know with zero reads.  I don't hate flatting here either but based on our image if we have been very active I prefer 4b/calling opposed to flatting.

i just dont see how you think this 3 bet is terrible sizing, maybe by like 1k but its not that bad at all….if you are only 2.5x 3 betting with this deep of stacks thats horrific as people should flat every single one, you have to adjust your 3 bet size with the depth of stacks….while i agree 10k may be a bit overboard i thikn its 10000000x times better than if he made it 6k….and with this buy in people arnt stacking off as light as bigger buy ins imo, they enjoy nitting it up and are scared to bust when they finally make it deep in a tourney

while i agree we arnt getting tons of value from QQ JJ or TT unles we flop TJQ, i just dont htink you can justify getting AK in this deep readless, let alone vs ONE OF THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CAN BUST US! (this has to influence our play a little too here, i am sure we have way more chips than avg and are in very good shape atm)
