I was involved in a couple pots with Kdawg earlier and I took those down.  I felt he was just trying to make a move on me with a pair of Jacks.  I shouldve shoved pre?  I was 9th of 24 before this pot.

opening here looks like 1 of 2 things either a steal or a monster, i think its ok to jam here pre you have a descent hand and there is just so much money in the middle plus all the stacks to your left are getting short. K10ss is prolly around the bottom of my shove range here with so much dead money its hard to fold the spot here.

Agree ^. If you are going to play the hand you should be shoving pre. Fold otherwise. Not a hand we want to r/c for value or get reshipped on. Take away a lot of their range and ship it in there!

This is definitely a shove or fold.  Much easier for you to make this decision if you have reads on the players in the blinds and know their images. Standard shove regardless IMO.

although its nice to get diff opinions on some hands…i like how this forum usually consists of agreed opinions. makes it alot easier to know if what you did was correct or not. some other forums, you get different opinions by diff people and you end up more confused about the hand than you were before posting it lol.

There is a lot more to this spot then just shoving because you have about 16 bb's.  If you know the button and blinds are capable of calling you light, maybe you don't want to shove here with K10s.  But then again, maybe you do.  I think it really depends on the images of the players behind you and what they are capable of calling you with.  It also depends on your image as well.  If you have been super aggressive and going all-in a lot you will definitely be called much lighter than if you had a really tight image.  Image is very important in spots like this.  It also depends on which stage of the tournament you are at.  If you are on the money bubble or the ft bubble people's calling ranges tend to tighten up a bit.  Some people just think it is a standard shove automatically due to the number of blinds you have.  There is much more to it than that and these things should always be in consideration when debating whether or not to go all-in.
