…..FEAA9264FB

I call pre flop cause i think this might be a decent spot for villain's to open light since he has the big stack on the SB (I might be overvaluing him) , if it was KTo i would have 3b/f but being suited and in position i like flatting more.

I mean to be honest 99-TT or a weakish J was exacly my target, here I can have AA KK AJ 88 QJ ( maybe i'm betting bigger on the turn tought with these hands is this the mistake i make ?)

Any thoughts ?

Preflop is hard to say without notes.  Think it's wrong (villain) to go way out of line here taking ICM, stacksizes etc. into consideration. So think it's close, but could be fine vs laggish people. Prefer 3b/f though

Flop is standard.

Think your sizing OTT is way to small (would bet/c s 8kish to jam rivers).  Turn could also be a check vs tight open range.

Looks good to me, though I think there's merit in raising the flop as well to get him off of AQ/AK.

yeah pkcrr i agree with you but in game i was scared of a possible check shove from him which would have sucked, but looking back at the hand is not going to happend that much i guess.

Andrew i like the idea of raising and i thought about it in game, but im not gonna raise let's say AJ here so should i just be fine being unbalance towards semi-bluffs in a spot like this ( which is similar to the spot i commented on your live tourney HH i think) bacause villain afterall cant do much about it ?

Yeah, I mean, I can think of two ways for him to exploit this:

a. Get it in with AQ/AK/77 on the flop (even this isn't a disaster for you as your equity is fine)

b. Barrel you when you don't raise and clubs come on turn or river.

So just don't give up too easily with your strong flopped hands when V barrels a club and you'll be fine.

Preflop and on the flop looks good to me.  When the queen came on the turn, before any action took place, I thought, “Well, other than a club, that's the best card in the deck for you.”  He checked, showing weakness, and you bet about 1/3 pot.  I think I would have bet more.  Maybe 6500 or 7000.  It would be tough for him to call here I think.  Just a thought.  Thanks for the post  laugh
