I think i misplayed this hand builded a big pot with it wih a medium hand. what line do we suggest, he raises flop which is kinda dry. KJ , K10 is possible, guy was kinda aggro. he 3 bettet me on few flopts as well. On turn he flats whereas i thought i he has a set he surely gets the money in. River i didnt want to check call but when he shoves he alsways has it ia ssume no draws etc
What do we do different here i feel like i misplayed the hand a bit.
Villain 30/22 over 71 hands.

i thnk your raise pre is good, and lead on the flop is all standard, after he raises flop im not a huge fan of leading turn as he is just gonna flat a set and let you donk river

i dont think he reps a ton on this board when he raises as there are no draws or likely 2 pair hands, so its either a set or air imo, sometimes a worse Kx, i am prob 3 betting small on flop, if he has a set he 4 bet or flats and if hes bluffing we win the pot without having to guess for tons of chips on turn and river

i think it is cheaper to 3 bet flop here, rather than flat and play a guessing game for most your chips by the river, it is going to be very hard for him to do anything other than play his hand face up if you 3 bet this flop imo and it makes your life easier OOP the rest of the way, if he flats our 3 i am shutting it down on turn/river

I think the idea of a check call line against an aggro villain is good on this dry of a board and with a hand that isn't that vulnerable. Its good to mix it up like this from time to time. Betting here is fine too though because we can get called by a ton of worse hands, and he may even float to take it away on turn. I'm curious as to what you thought his 3 bets on previous flops represented. This would be helpful in determining what to do here. Against Some oppenents I might be able to just get away from their flop raise if I think they are on the tight side and may only be raising sets and ak. however against an aggro villain I think you have to flat his raise here and let him continue to barrel off as a bluff. If we 3 bet the flop we have to fold to a shove, and it doesnt give the villain an opportunity to bluff later streets. We also lose value from kj/k10 if he is raising to see where he's at. He'll fold to a 4 bet, but might call a river bet if the turn goes check/check.

As played, I don't think our turn bet accomplishes very much. He might raise his sets and the 78 straight, but he could definitely flat them planning to raise river. However, we don't allow him to continue any bluffs. If he does man up and raise turn as a bluff, because he thinks you have a marginal hand, then he's going to win because we are folding. He's not going to be floating turn to bluff river in this spot, so we can easily check/fold river if he bets. If he does have kj which is about the only hand you beat he will be happy to check back, and won't be betting for value.
