I sometimes browse forums and see allot of the same questions on similar hands.

First of all, there is not any shame in folding a hand. Let's say that you're 80 BBs effective, where does it say you have to 5 bet jam this stack? I see people 4 betting OOP and someone rejamming and then they put themselves in a sticky spot. I'm not saying ” aggression ” isn't a good monkey to have in your barrel, but have a plan for what you're going to be doing in a hand. I see people too many times block their brain with a hand like JJ, QQ, and such, if you're really looking into it hard, you will realize that if you're pinning his range to AK like soooooo many people do in poker for some reason. You might as well hold 22 here ( excluding that you hold a blocker to his straight, but still doesn't matter, bc incase we forgot a set loses to a straight. ) I hear so many times, I knew he had AK, but I couldn't fold QQ. I've tried a few different ways to play hands like this. Some would be just flatting the raise in position, when you're heads up vs someone who you have no reads on. They're is no shame in folding QQ on a AK2 board, Yes sometimes you may get bluffed off the best hand, but I think in some spots you have aggro monkeys spewing A3 suited here and 5 bet shoving, just thinking you won't call without a premium. I'm not saying play like a complete bitch, but just sit back and think and don't just be a button clicking monkey or a barreling monkey. I asked Rivermen123 last night. ” Why do people always two barrel their entire range? ” Where he didn't really have an answer for it, I don't think anyone really does. You need to be able to change gears in poker to become a great player in the world. Sometimes this QQ is going to go all in preflop, but in unsure moments you don't have to risk it all for nothing. Remember we play MTTs which means that you have to win more than just that one hand to win a tournament, it's a long haul of coolers, suckouts, and bad beats. Well just remember, have a plan for your hands and think.. ” if I three bet this hand, is this guy going to 4 bet? ” ” Should I try to outplay him postflop? ” I sometimes find guys who fold the tightest ranges post flop, when you play hands and pin ranges you will find the ones who you can abuse at the table, along with the bluffers and the fish.. GL Everyone!
