So the villain is a thinking/winning reg. He is fairly new to the table and nothing noticably out of line. Initially I’m thinking AA vs KK, but I begin to question his line…
Questions: What do you do on this river spot? Is there another line you would take?

why are you checking turn here? you set the entire hand up to have a perfect bet to pile turn, and its obvious by your river call you never planned on folding, i think we have to pile turn after our flop bet i really dont like the check….more times than not hes checking back worse hands, at least if u pile he can talk himself into heroing QQ TT and random other weird hands….
as played i thnk your lucky to get it in on river and still be good
Shawn has a great point that you should be double barrel jamming turn after leading that flop. What do you do if villian bets turn after you check and he floated your flop bet? River call is meh, villian can be bluffing after your double check but you are essentially just bluff catching. If I were villian I would jam river as a value bet with any A after your double check.
I prefer check/jam on this flop as a stronger line. If he checks back you know he does not have an A and you can proceed as necessary on turn and river.
What range are you guys putting the villain on? I would assume hes only raising JJ+ and AQs+ and AKo for value over your under the gun range. If He was light he’s folding to your 4bet. Given the board the only combination we really beat is QQ. I still think we need to cbet, but I’m never putting in more chips on this board. If he does have a hand like QQ or TT which some of you suggest I doubt he’s ever stuffing river as a bluff when he has some showdown value. I also can’t see him floating flop for 1/2 his stack. I think overall this is just a bet/fold on flop.
