I'm interested in whether my bet sizing OOP is appropriate in this hand and whether I played it correctly. My turn bet was to supposed to induce a shove but to no avail… at this stage i put the villian on a flush draw. Perhaps shoving with 25BBs PF was the way to go… Wein and Hag discussed the difficulties associated with this stack size in the last TPE live podcast, and this hand definitely reinforced their comments for me.
180 max, no reads on the villian, given a recent table change.

I'd maybe bet more on flop as its 4 way and fairly wet board, but you you got yerself headsup so had the same desired effect.
With board running out like this I'm happily getting it in…..
You want to induce a shove on turn, but he cant expect you to fold if he does, so perhaps you should have shoved turn (pot size bet) to make youreself look weaker than half pot bet, where you obv calling a shove.

i prolly bet 600 on the flop, this would make the pot 2k on the turn and we have like 1700 so we can just shove
Thanks for the replies, increasing my bet size on a 4-way flop does make sense, and shoving the turn would've given the villian inappropriate odds to call a flush draw (2.2:1), he would also have to risk 37% of his stack to call a $1700 shove… although I still don't think he'll fold in this spot.
turned out the villian was indeed on a flush draw…. Ac2c …. rivered a set and sent me packin'.
i'm with eske, that early i raise preflop bigger.
on the flop i also would bet a lil more over on the flop especially against 2 opponents maybe 2/3rd of the pot
and on the turn i would get it in.
possible that he calls a turnshove with a the nutflushdraw but it would be a ev- call
agree with above
increase flop bet size to compensate for wetish board, OOP + being multiway
this makes our turn bet sizing easier
btw one of my rules of thumb for pricing out flush draws on the turn is 1/2 pot
ie betting half pot or more gives them bad odds
so betting 1700 into 2000 more than gets the job done (even with his extra A and 2 outs)
