Hi TPE people! Last time I posted a hand I got good response, thanks for that.

Here is a hand I think many can learn from, including myself. I have played with him for 150 straight hands and we are now 7
hours deep in the Million. I have seen him 4 bet 89s in pos, flat 3bets with connectors oop etc.

I play about 18/13, and I have won every pot I've played against him, 5/6 without showdown. This does not mean he has played
bad, he seems OK.

As you can see we are both over 40 BBs deep when he raises, one guy flats and i get Kings. I 3bet pot expecting to get a fairly
light call even though there is one player behind.

Flop comes TJQ and he donks 40% pot. His range here is wide as previously said from connectors up to JTs, JTo, QJs, QJo, 99-QQ,
KQs, KQo, AQs, and AQo. Because he hasn't 4bet light oop and there is a player in between I think I can exclude AK, KK and AA.
I cant get an equity calculator to work on my mac, anyone care to run this on pokerstove pls?

Anyway, he donks and here is what I think. He is donking the flop because of 2 reasons: protect his hand or build a pot with a draw
hoping to get it in, and possibly get a fold from me. Clearly there is a small chance he's bluffing too. This makes it difficult to put him on
an exact hand so what I need to figure out is how I do against his range where I am beat. I have 8 outs for a straight, and possibly 2
Kings against any set or 2 pair. I can also hit running straight or higher 2 pair.

I need to shove about 33.7 BBs to win a pot of 90 BBs giving me almost 3 to 1. I thought it was a definite shove, what do you think?

Has you seen what this guy donk leads?  I hear bigdog's voice saying “I don't believe him.” Like, if he has two pair of better, why not checkraise allin?  No need for software, I think you are ahead 90% of the time.

This is a tough one indeed. So many monsters in his range, but it’s so hard to justify folding. Would be interested to know what others think though. Can we just fold?? confused

I don’t consider the donk lead to be as FOS as it used to be, especially when a competent player does it. Particularly on a board like this. It’s hard to advocate getting away from this hand since you’ve got equity against pretty much anything, but it’s definitely a puke spot. I don’t hate the way you played it, but like I said, this is a very tough spot either way.

Not sure if flatting and calling off on turn is better.

If you’re at an extremely soft table where it’s easy to chip back up, I’m not 100% opposed to folding to the donk lead and never telling anyone. But I would feel like such a *****.

Edit: actually the way you played it is fine. Just get it in.
