So do you call this river ? Do we just give him credit for AQ or better for that half pot bet or is it still poss he value bets worst like QJ Q 10 or maybe is bluffing a missed str8 draw ? …..g/?6595938
This is read dependent. If this is a typical fish who doesn't bluff or go for thin value enough, I think you can fold. If you think there is a high enough chance he cant beat KK based on the range he plays like this, then you can call.
I personally would bet the turn and check back the river.

The bet turn/check river line is probably what I would do too.
There are two things to consider in this hand, and it all dpends on your reads on villain. Here are some things to think about:
– Getting 3 streets on this baord is going ot be near impossible(river king would allow it and maybe river ace). So with that said we are usually looking at two streets of value once the turn hits. We can either bet turn check river or turn and bet river checked too. Oen thing to consider that if we do bet turn and get the favorable king river or ace agaisnt some people, we can maybe get 3 streets, whcih you cant do if you check turn. Now lets look at these two options:
Checking turn with plans to bet river: This works better against people who like to bluff, it prevents you from getting raised on the turn as a bluff but also allows him to bet river as a bluff. This is also a good option if you expect him to fold Qs on the turn or even a hand like 9t(which may bluff the river(9T) or call a river bet(Q) if you check turn). That siad if you dont expect him to blue at least like 15%(estimated) of the time he missed with 9t, then giving him a free card is a losing proposition.
Betting Turn with checking blank rivers: This allows you to value stations, especailly people who are passive. They wll call all Qs and may even call a hand like 8x or JJ/TT. It also allows any straght draws that may be in his range to call. So if you have a vilalin that is calling all thes eweek hands to the turn, betting the turn is probably best, espeically if you dont expect them to bluff.
The Ace in general isnt realy the hand I would be worried about being behind, the Ace sucks not because it changes who is winning the hand a lot but because it costs you value in a lot of cases(not getting 3 streets that often which is usually the case with KK). The hands I am most worried about behing behind are: 77/88/AQ/A8 and occasionally QQ/AA/AK. That said I do think that in general you will vind value in betting the turn around 1/3rd pot. He has a lot of combos that he probably wont fold(every Qx that isnt AQ). People will call OEs here for 1/3 but being OOP they wont get a lot of value agaisnt your hand on river. This also prevents you from spots like this where you may get bet off on the river.
