The Big $2 (5K) on Stars ITM already. I'm really not sure on my 3-bet size pre, as with it and any c-bet bigger that 35% pot commits me. I was trying to get the raiser to go allin pre but that didn't work out. V who flats my 3bet is 38/0/0 only 13 hands.

? 3bet size pre.

? Flop do you c-bet here, if so how much. The range i give him is AQ+ TT+.

? Turn…give up or go with it, with back door 2nd nut fl draw

i'd shove pre, especially in a 2$ tourney where they love to stack off with any decent looking hand in such situations 🙂

btw dont like the size of your 3b, cause if i'm calculating right if OR goes all in its not a full raise so you wouldnt be able to shove over mp2 if he also deceides to call.

If OR shoves and MP2 calls he's not folding to a jam over from me anyway so it doesn't really factor in to my decision.

Shoving 36bb pre is wasting the value of KK imo…I want action I just don't want an ace to flop wink

i agree with badabing and would shove pre too in a tourney like this, even if you do get folds theres still 10k in the pot which is 25% of our stack

I think with the way it was played..I would make the squeeze sizing like 13k-15k slightly larger sizing it up to get it all in on the flop (esentially a go and go). by squeezng you are looking stronger then ever though especially with the initial raiser of under 15bb.  I put the overcaller on a middle pair with the cold call of your squeeze.  By jamming though pre it really isn't bad bc you are widening your range and villains are going to call off with middle pairs that you have dominated.  By doing this when called you are getting max value pre rather than the villain missing their flop and them folding on your bet on the flop.  Once you decide to squeeze pre I am never folding post that is why I am sizing the squeeze to make it a very easy pot size shove on the flop.

i'm shoving pre too.

remember this is a $2 tourney where some of the people think that A10 is the nuts, especially suited so you want to discourage as many calls as possible. if they're siting there with a pocket pair they're calling. if they're sitting there with AQs they're calling.

if you wanted to just 3bet/call then making it about 13-13.5k ish pre would imo be better. if only to make people think they have to be commited to stacking off.

Just stick it in pre. In $2 tourneys the OR is rarely folding and MP flatter is going to call your jam a lot of the time a lot lighter than you would think since it is not for his tournament life etc. Shoving looks the weakest even though it seems like a lot of chips its still fine at this buyin level.

Yeah the more I look at it is just seems like a hand I'm eventually getting allin with no matter what so pf is as good as any spot. UL that the ace hit.
