Hey

No reads.

thoughts on raising flop? one opponent was all in as a short stack , the bet otf was very small so that makes me want to raise more as there ranges all seem weak..
as for the turn v continues to bet really small , unlikely they're playing a hand like AT/KT this way , seems like they have marginal hands that want to showdown for cheap.

The river does complete a straight so i just decided to call given the good odds i was getting, though i guess we could r/f river. If they did jave a straight i reckon they would have
bet bigger then that.

cheers.

As I was reading the HH, my immediate thought was to raise the flop. I like raising here, start to thin out the field. We have all sorts of EV potential here, and if we get re-raised, I think we can fold pretty easily. The problem is that I find a lot of guys flatting small bets like this with strong hands, with intention of raising them on the turn, and if we pick up the 8c or other good cards, it can become difficult to fold turn. However, if we raise, they are going to be very inclined to re-raise us and hand becomes easy.

River is perfectly fine. Not sure if a raise is really doing anything, and we are definetily going to be winning often enough to make the flat profitable.

I would flat pre flop as well, and even when you hit the jack would call for pot control. After all you had just top pair.
Btw, I’m amazed with bet sizes on flop/turn/river.
