I played this one just a couple minutes ago in the Micromillion 41.. how would you guys play this one? Villain in BB is a bit callhappy so im not too afraid of his range when he calls pre..

Im thinking clickback raise preflop with hands like 22-88(99) with bad playability but call with a hand like KJs to get the fish in the BB in?

Something seems up with the way the action on the flop is posted. What was the UTG+1's reaction to the BB's bet? Did he fold?  Did the BB fold to your raise?  Someone must have called for the turn and river to show.

I dont know why it says “[color=red” etc.. I chose the “copy to forum format” in PT4..

I check to the BB who bets out 130k, i checkraise to 540k leaving me with ~250k. I didnt shove to make it look a little bit less like a draw.

Personally I would raise pre to around 185K. Firstly I dont want to play a pot postflop oop. Secondly even if the BB is call happy by raising we can narrow his range a little pre. If he raises us we can get away pre for the minimum.

I dont like the checkraise postflop with 8 outs, if he is call happy he's calling any Q, decent tens with draws to straights and flush draws. Cant really think of a better way to play it post which is why I would raise pre.

Sorry about that man, I totally read that wrongly.  At least the thread got a bump out of it 🙂

Preflop I am going to isolate the 3bb shove or fold, most likely isolate in this spot.

Although you say BB is call happy he has only got a VPIP of 23 so it does not necessarily mean he is going to be cold calling 3bets a ton. I like isolating for say 180-200k as I think the BB will have to have a very strong hand to cold 4bet here due to the lightness of f/equity and clearly we are ahead of the shovers range. We can fold to a 4bet shove.

When this flop comes down we are now in a tricky spot as we have no real idea about the BBs range plus there is a dry side pot so not sure if it is right to lead here or check. Given that there is a dry side pot, when you check and villain bets you have to think he has something better than a draw so I am not sure that the small ck/raise will get anything achieved. If I ck/raise here then I think I am going to put on maximum pressure and hope he has a hand that cannot stand much heat but it is quite a risk.

Do you have room to ck/call flop here and see see the turn fairly cheap? You still have 22bbs behind when you call so if you miss it is a dent in your stack but certainly not disastrous. Maybe ck/call is best and re-evaluate turn.

Turn J is probably a good card for your hand as you took the lead if villain is betting a T or medium pair on the flop. He could have a Q but equally may not. If I ck/call flop then I probably ck/call turn to try to get to showdown cheap.

Be interesting to see how the pros play this a) preflop and b) postflop as played.
