KJo in sb, bb 3bets 1st lvl: just fold or call to see a flop oop?

2nd hand in. It's folded around to me and I raised KJo in sb and bb 3bets. Should I call here as bb might put me on a steal or does he mostly have a big hand in this spot? 4betting sounds absurd, so let's leave that option out.

7 folds, Hero raises to t60, DanCariello raises to t160, Hero?

with no history its a fold. You have to give people credit until they give you reason not to. At this point he's a totally unkown… just fold

totally agree with with gOliath, second hand in no reads  and we're OOP… dump it.

curious to y a 4bet is absurd in ur opinion. i mean i dont advise it this early on but just curious to know y this play is absurd. i mean i wouldnt totally rule it out. kjo is strong hand bliind vs blind and villian could be 3betting light to set the tone against his bb. i mean i think a fold is the right play but just always curious of these type of situations.

definite fold, big reverse implied odds here, because even if you flop a K or  J you are still playing the guessing game OOP, because AJ, AK, KQ etc are all in villain's 3bet range and so its likely you either win a small pot when he doesnt have it or lose a big one.

because i dont see any reason in turning my hand into a bluff trying to get back the 60 i'd put in in this spot and having to fold if villain shoves on us.

Obv im not saying that a “4bet” in general is an absurd play, just in this spot this early and without any history between me and villain.

again, i totally agree a fold is in order in the early going here. just making some discussion. was just kinda triggerd when KingsBustYou mentioned that this would be an absurd 3bet or call spot.  just curious……

what ranges are we raise/callng or 4betting in this spot?
