Is the KJo a bit loose from this early position in an unopened pot?

Villian had bet 2 streets previously with 2 pair and check raised me when he housed up on on the river.

Are we beating anything but air on the turn? should we just fold the flop with our top pair and gutter?

this is why I play a pretty tight range in the early stages, K/j feels like its ahead on that flop to me even with the raise its hard to give him credit for a better hand. You both are so deep and it could get expensive to be out kicked or him having a set I'm folding that turn bet for sure as played although I'm probably just folding preflop UTG +2.

KJo is not worth opening early position without antes even in play. Wait for antes to loosen up your opening range.

Agree with hawkeye KJo is not worth playing oop preante. As played I would check back that flop to keep the pot small and get value out of mid pairs and missed draws on the turn.

playing from EP is what I meant. You can open this from hijack/co/button all fine.

I think you need to find the fold button.  It seems like you wanted to go to war with the villian.  Why did you call the 3 bet?  Whenever you are opening KJ off  early you need some solid reads on the table to determine your action going forward. I dont mind the c bet I think the sizing is fine but when villian 3 bets just let it go and look for a better spot.

Agree with above and folding pre

As played i'd hate to bet-fold that flop to the c/r, that seems way too weak

That said, we're in a tough spot on the turn basically deciding if he's bluffing/semi bluffing or not and playing for most if not all of our chips.. not a spot we ever really want to be in.

I like dannys line to check back flop for pot control
