I had just been moved to this table and pick up AQo, Its a 2 dollar rebuy and there are 110 left in, as i was moved i saw kondor shipping a double up but didnt catch his hand. Would you take his subsequent min raise as a sign of strength or raise to iso him, the chip leader is sat in the big blind btw.

When bet sizing and stacks don't allow 3-bet shoves to make sense and no history at all I would not be opening myself to inflating the pot. If you get 4-bet you know your either behind or way behind. If he calls a 3-bet and you miss the flop then what. fold to his donk bet, or spew more of your stack with a bluff praying he folds?. I call looking to smash the flop or get out quick and as painless as possible. The most overrated hand causes grief for a reason, imo.
3bet small to about 20k-22k to iso shortie and c his shove for 10x eff. if you get cold 4bet you can easily fold the 4x invested and leave urself w over 30x. shortie could be doing this w other hands than QQ+ or AK. Then again ur prolly not really beating his range there either, mostly flippin; so the safe route would be to fold
would like to see some other opinions on this.
I agree with krul about the stack sizes being awquard. Villian's range is assumed to be really strong with just 10bb coming in with the min raise. Aq fairs to be really strong tho pre. New to table with no reads…. id fold. Ur essentially playn for stacks if we 3bet. If we call and flop top pr(Q) we're still losing to KK and AA and QQ(ulikely but possible), If we flop Ace then we lose to AA and AK. As mentioned, I'd fold pre with no reads.
