Final two table of 1.5k 6max, 9 left
Villain is 34/31 over 29 hands and the table overall is very agg
I have raised folded utg previously in the 29 hands and had one or two tussle's with tb17 and the villain
just wondering what the best course of action might be?
cheers!

Hero??
kinda close between 4b/c or flat and let him tool out on the flop. id prob flat with KK/AA so i guess JJ/QQ we 4b/c. i just wud hate to see him fold all his air with a 4b. plus we gain extra chips off his flop cbet cuz its a lock hes going to. actually, the only hand we beat if we 4b/c is AK. if we 4b we are sooo strong and i highly doubt he tools out and 5b AQ or TT. so either 4b shove or flat then. i dont like 4b/c anymore lol.
I agree with hawk. It is a tough spot but your read with villian being aggro is your answer. I think the way you would play back to this villian is the 4 bet Jam. Now if he has a premium hand (which I imagine he is pretty wide) then nice hand. Now the other thing as I see the table dynamic, if it is an aggressive table, everyone on the table have bout the avg and even. It would be OK just to fold too and wait for a better spot being in position.
If villian aggro had a lot of chips and had dominent chip lead, it would be more of a no brainer to jam but with even stacks, I would say the line is taking that he was 3 bet to more less iso you and I would say he had maybe a broadway, a pair of sorts but nothing spectacular. I think you would be ahead.
I think his 3bet was what he wanted, you to tank a bit and give you a hard decision to jam or fold. He wanted one of the two. I think the flat would have been awful in that particular spot.
With the stack sizes, I definitely click it back with a 4 bet and not afraid to get it in short handed. I actually 4 bet to the size putting the villain who is squeezing to a decision to 5 bet shoving or folding. I am then going with any flop if he just cold calls you. By just calling you have no idea where you are in the hand and in many cases an over is going to hit the flop and you are in an awkward spot. Just take control of the hand pre and if it is a cooler it is a cooler. Best of luck at the tables!!

Yeah, 4b and get it in pre seems the way to go. Shoving and flatting are both bad.
88 and 99 would be close, I think. TT+ is a get it in easily spot and if he coolered you then so be it. 5 handed JJ is a monster vs. an agg. villain.
??
both of those are better than 4b imo. think about from his perspective and what he would do. to a 4b, unless he sees as aggro and capable of 4b light then sure he wud 5b stuff worse. but if he doesnt, then our 4b looks super strong and he folds everything besides QQ+, AK. shoving is better because his calling range is wider than his 5b shove range. flatting is also better because no matter the flop hes leading it and we gain those extra chips from his squeeze bluff that he wudnt have given to our 4b.
edit: we are 5handed so yea 4b is good as well. my bad. but i just dont think shoving or flatting are bad cuz there is alot of equity in those two options.
