Villian is 53/9 and 5% agg factor. Over 41 hands.
Pre i feel we are too deep to shove so i decide to 3bet/call.
Flop is where im really unsure. We have about 1k more than a pot sized bet. So thinking maybe i should shove? We can likely get hero calls from flush draws and maybe even small PP.
I feel like i butchered this hand. Advice? Thanks!

folding turn seems week , not sure if we just peel or jam it on in? If we peel I'm not sure what our plan is on K/Q/A or heart rivers….. really interested though on flop decision , not sure i like my check back with a PSB left

thanks. flopcheck is where i felt the most butchering went on in the hand.. turn i called where i should of folded , and river folded to the A non heart drop.
so
are we bet / folding ? if so what should we bet?
if were bet / calling im thinking bet small to induce worse to shove and get it in ? i imagine we will also get a lot of c/calls by a 50vpip guy too. stubborn small pairs. maybe evne an aj / a10 that wants to peel.,.. looking back in hem he is 5% post flop agression which is pretty darn agressive.
or shove. 7k to take down 6k , he's not folding a king or a six , aa . if he calls a shove with QQ he's likely to call 77-1010 imo. and him having aa/qq are less likely than the mid pairs. (he flatted a UTG raise , who folded to my 3bet , and he just flats again.) and plays 50% of his holdings . and from my experience with these 40+ vpip , they have a no fold draw policy once getting to the flop so i expect any 2 hearts to stick around.
we barely have over a pot sized bet (pot 6k , stack 7k) . my instinct says bet / folding can't be right given our stack and the pot , and the slight possibility he can have a FD if he c/r us , also if we bet small to induce he could very well ship 77-1010 i would think or at the very least c/call .
sorry for the story , just wanted to put my thoguht process on the hand so it can possibily be poiinted out where my thinking is wrong.
and the 40 hands on him are after the rebuy period fwiw. and i busted out 6 hands later shoving 16bigs from btn with an ace so in game had 35 hands.
I really don't mind a shove pre with the extra chips in the pot from the caller. You have 33bbs, it's not like you're 100bb deep. Raising puts you in post flop spots just like the one you are in a lot and makes JJ really hard to play when an overcard flops often. One thing I've gotten from working with bigdog is to try to not put yourself in spots where you are going to fold and be left with 20bbs. If you are faced with a decision in this BB range then it's time to go for the giant stack or pass on it.
As for the flop action, I find it hard to believe he would c/r a 77-TT. You can bet less than 1/2 pot and fold to a c/r as he'll have a K here almost always if he does that.
