JJ on KK6 board

I was playing on Sky Poker in the mini main event £5 6-max. The players are generally pretty weak, and i had this player down as a weak player who doesnt like folding. For example i had AA and triple barrelled a 497 AK board and he called with 45.

So i have 7500 and he has 15k @ 125/250 no antes. I raise 700 middle position with JJ (no diamond) and only caller is the villian in the BB. Ive put him on any 2 which ive seen him play from BB all day thats why i went a little bigger than my normal min raise as i know he will be calling most of the time so i can get more chips in the pot.

Flop KK6 2 diamonds, 1525 in the pot i bet 700 again.

The reason i bet is becuase like the earlier hand he will call down with anything, and there is a flush draw so i dont want to just let him get there if he has it. I also bet 700 cause i see alot of players on Sky think that if you bet the same as your pre-flop raise they think your bluffing and dont believe you.

I can understand a reason for checking but i just hate seeing a diamonds or an overcard come.

So then he just shoves on me and puts me all in….What would you do??

I think i would call, if hes calling with any two cards and you said that if you c-bet the same amount you raised pre people think you're bluffing and spew then aren't you hoping that he trys to bluff? I wouldn't check that flop either with a flush draw on the board id hate to check and see another diamond. Have you seen him bluff before or is he just a calling station?

I havent seen any big bluffs as other players could have folded so the only time ive seen his cards were when he stationed.

I made the call and he turns over A7spades but couldnt fade.

The reason i posted was because i posted this on facebook and another player said he would fold and i made a bad call. Just wanted to see how others would play it

It's probably a fold with minimal postflop reads. You'd think he'd continue to station with 6x and that sort of leaves his range to just Kx and flush draws.

JJ isn't looking so good vs. that range getting that price.

i fold, i mean our reads mean we are hoping he has a flush draw, which has decent equity agaisnt us, or he has us crushed. so i just get out of the way and am ok with making an incorrect fold v his hand sometimes (but correct v his range)

hey,

so first of all if he is stationing like you said i don like the bet sizing. Stations like him most likely call down with everything they have on the board. So with the KKx there are very little Kx combos in his range he beats us. Most of his range are pairs and 6x which we are still ahead. additionally he stations with all his FDs.

so we need to maximize our value on every hand we play vs him.

ideally i would bet around pot size on the flop, turn and shove river with all my value hands. if he happens to have Kx then GG and vwp.

as played i would also fold for some reasons:

1.) we described villain as passive fishy who calls down with weak holdings. so his raise is mostlikely a Kx and prob FDs as others said. Prolly 5-10% we can throw in some random bluff hands

2.) the whole field is pretty weak so i dont need to wager all my chips on a spot where i am not sure how good my equity is

cheers
