UTG is 76/33 over 67 hands (EP RFI 3/9). MP is 14/14 over 7 hands. I don't think he 3bets 4x with AA or KK so do you think his range is heavily skewed to AK and QQ? Can we cold 4b jam here?

UTG raises to t300, MP raises to t1200, Hero ???

Its obv still fairly early in the tourny, if you shove you can be certain that one or other is calling and at best your flipping here.

Its also a $1 tourny so anyone is capable of calling off anything i was called by 47 s the other day in a similar situation.

Given stack sizes though I think im still jamming.cool

not sure about this at all. Whatever ever he is 4x ing with for 1/4 of his stack I think he is going with. Recently I have noticed a lot of 'not so good' players either open 4x ing or 4x 3betting AA & KK so i wouldnt count it out. You could be lucky and run into 99 or TT. It really is a lottery at these stakes. You have no fold equity so it's take a gamble and jam, or fold. I think either is fine.

Sorry for sitting on the fence but without the in game dynamics I cant decide which way to jump.

yeah my experience here on the 1 dollar stars tourney are the same…he can have about everything there….

And because it is a 1 dollar tourney i think i would jam it in there…maybe bad to look at the buyin…but still different decision in a 1$ then 50$ tourney i think…

Yeah I'm not a fan of the thought process, “It's a $1 tournie so let's get it in.” so think you're right hopeletron that it's bad to look at the buyin. But yeah you're right too that the decision would be different in a $50 MTT.

There's no real current dynamics since MP has only played one hand in the seven he has been here. I only know OR has loose stats, so MP might not do in the last 7 hands.

No worries about sitting the fence, I went with the call and villain showed AK, we won and more than doubled up. Next hand…

the calling range of the Av player in 1 dollar tournamnet is so much wider than in a 50 dollar tournament, this makes it relevant information to the decision.
