This is the Stars $18K GTD. Villain has been reasonably active but has not shown down anything but good hands. 53 people left at this point so we are pretty well in to the money.
I assume the 3 bet is ok? and now what?

It's very close. Basically comes down to ranging him. If he's JJ+, AKo, AQs+ then it's a close fold. If it's TT+, AK it's a call.
Here's my math for TT+, AK (you have 43% vs this range)
Pot 49998
Your Stack 29373
BB 1200
Effective
Stack 29373
Win % 43.00%
Lose % 57.00%
Pot Odds 37.01%
If we call and win 75269
If we call and lose 0
EV of a Call 32366
EV of a Fold 29373
Net EV of a Shove 2993
EV as % of Stack 10.19%
EV as # of BBs 2.49
Risk of Busto 57.00%
If you take TT out of his range then you have 37% equity and just slightly -EV.
I'd probably be willing to gamble here.
I probably gamble here and get it in. Guy COULD have a smaller pair 77,88,99,1010 and you have him crushed. He COULD also have QQ,KK,AA and have you crushed but even 20% of the time you suckout and win. I would have called. If I have QQ here i'm never folding and there are only 3 hands in the whole deck that you are losing to pre. Smells like AK(s) to me.
tough spot but this day and age with the aggressive nature of poker I say go for it.

Your own image is probably pretty tight based on how you play on average and that's what matters more here. If you haven't been actively 3 betting I almost instamuck JJ in this spot.
If you have been active it's a whole 'nother story.
You play tight and raised OOP – he knows you have some strength here. Pretty sure we discard TT from his range and discard our JJ to the muck.
Also, I'd just jam if you're unsure about how you'll react to a 4 bet. You don't really have a 3bet/fold stack and I wouldn't want to get flatted here, either.
If we are going to 3b here I think we have to be willing to 3b/call otherwise we are turning JJ into a bluff. I'd just try and decide beforehand what our intentions are before we 3b the utg opener. I would go ahead and 3b/call here but a lot depends on our image as well as opponent.
